We are thrilled to announce that Prestone Katiedzo, a standout student from Riara University’s School of Computing Sciences (BBIT), has been awarded the beVisioneers: The Mercedes-Benz Fellowship, a global sustainability fellowship powered by Mercedes-Benz.
Prestone’s win places him among an elite group of young visionaries around the world who are tackling climate challenges through innovation and entrepreneurship. His venture, OOO, is rooted in a powerful guiding question:
“How can we build the future without compromising the planet?”
This ambitious project focuses on creating sustainable, tech-driven solutions that help communities reimagine how they interact with the environment. The €3,000 grant from beVisioneers will fund the early-stage development of OOO, helping to turn bold ideas into tangible impact.
