The Riara University Student Association (RUSA) is the official student governing body established to represent the voice, interests, and welfare of students at Riara University. RUSA is committed to fostering a vibrant, inclusive, and engaging student experience by promoting leadership, advocacy, academic support, and co-curricular involvement.
Guided by the values of integrity, inclusivity, service, and excellence, RUSA works in close partnership with the university administration to ensure a responsive and student-centered campus environment.
The President provides overall leadership to the student body, advocates for students’ interests, and liaises with the university administration to address key student issues.
The Vice President assists the President and ensures smooth operation of student activities, promoting inclusivity, and stepping in as acting President when needed.
The Secretary General is responsible for maintaining records, managing communication within the student government, and organizing official meetings and reports.
The Treasurer oversees financial management, ensuring transparency and accountability in handling student funds and budgeting for various initiatives.
This role represents the interests of international students, promoting cultural diversity and ensuring their needs and concerns are addressed.
The Students Welfare Representative focuses on student welfare, advocating for mental health, safety, and general well-being of all students.
This role is crucial in championing the rights and accessibility needs of students living with disabilities within Riara University.
Represents students in the school representative, advocating for their academic and extracurricular interests.
Advocates for Student Rights – Ensures that students’ academic, social, and personal interests are represented in university decision-making processes
Organizes Events – Coordinates cultural festivals, career fairs, mentorship programs, innovation challenges, and awareness campaigns
Promotes Leadership Development – Provides training and opportunities for student leaders to grow through seminars, conferences, and community engagement
Supports Clubs and Societies – Facilitates student organizations to thrive by offering guidance, funding, and logistical support
Enhances Campus Life – Works to improve campus services, amenities, and student welfare through continuous feedback and collaboration with university staff
